Enterprise Architect
Function
We’re looking for a hands-on Enterprise IT Architect to join our client’s transformation team within the healthcare sector. In this consultancy assignment, you'll play a key role in mapping, analyzing, and preparing the future state of a complex application landscape. The assignment is structured in clear phases and requires close collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders. Availability on-site in Brugge for at least three days a week is essential to ensure impactful engagement.
The Role – Strategic IT Architecture in Three Key Phases
This assignment will span three progressive phases:
Phase 1 – Application Baseline Mapping

Classify applications by type (e.g., operational, supportive, informational)

Determine criticality levels (e.g., critical, standard, informational)

Map out relevant departments and user groups
Phase 2 – Technical & Functional Analysis

Evaluate the functional and technical suitability of current applications

Inventory hosting environments, software versions, and planned upgrades/migrations

Capture user volumes and licensing models
-
Analyze support contracts, maintenance agreements, and SLA coverage

Document data warehouse linkages and design a forward-looking integration roadmap
Phase 3 – Roadmap Preparation

Identify and define future roadmap initiatives across domains such as infrastructure, HR, and EHR systems
Your Profile – Expertise Meets Communication
We’re seeking a Dutch-speaking consultant with a structured mindset and a solid background in enterprise IT architecture, especially in complex environments.
Must-haves:

Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach

Demonstrated experience developing IT architectures within multifaceted organizations

Excellent communication skills across stakeholder levels (IT, management, end-users)

Availability for on-site work 3 days per week (full-time negotiable with max. 2 days remote)
