We're seeking a motivated consultant to join our client's team, where you will play a vital role in enhancing their data architecture and services. As our client works diligently on streamlining data exchange between numerous internal applications and external sources, your expertise will be critical in shaping a centralized data layer to facilitate this process.

The main focus of this role involves developing an inventory of applications and thoroughly documenting the data flows, including those with external partners. Leveraging this inventory, you will propose targeted solutions to implement a centralized data layer, enhancing the ease of report generation through consolidated databases. Moreover, your involvement will optimize our client’s participation in an essential migration program, aligning department architecture and data communication.

• Establish a business architecture that aligns the application and data layers with clients strategically and tactically.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing and future state of the application landscape.
• Map out relationships and integration points across applications and data flows, proposing enhancements with respect to existing architectural components.
• Analyze current documentation and develop an actionable plan to elevate it to the required standards.
• Identify synergies and gaps within the existing architecture and draft potential optimizations in coordination with the migration program.

The successful candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Data Services Architecture. You should have hands-on experience with current data management frameworks and the ability to analyze and optimize data flows effectively. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders. Familiarity with the relevant architectural components, such as Azure Data Warehouse and Power BI, is highly desired.

• Strong proficiency in Data & Services Architecture.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Active knowledge of Dutch or French.
• Conversational knowledge of English is considered a plus.
