Enterprise Architect

Function

We're looking for an experienced Enterprise / Business Architect Consultant to join our client's organization and play a key role in shaping its future data and application landscape. This strategic assignment focuses on creating a clear architectural vision across business processes, applications and data flows, while supporting major digital transformation initiatives. The consultant will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment at both tactical and strategic levels.

Responsibilities

As Enterprise / Business Architect, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting the current environment ("AS IS") and defining the target architecture ("TO BE"). Your main responsibilities will include:

• Building a comprehensive inventory of applications based on Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Active Directory, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate, as well as other systems exchanging critical business data.
• Mapping and documenting internal and external data flows, including integrations with partners and third-party organizations.
• Designing and proposing a centralized data layer to streamline data exchanges between applications and improve data accessibility.
• Analyzing the existing application landscape and defining optimization opportunities across the organization.
• Reviewing the current documentation and establishing an action plan to improve architectural standards and governance.

Key Objectives

The consultant will contribute to the implementation of a centralized architecture that enables more efficient reporting and analytics through consolidated data sources and improved interoperability between systems. In addition, the role involves identifying synergies, gaps and optimization opportunities within the existing architecture and aligning them with broader transformation programs and strategic initiatives.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong business architecture expertise with a deep understanding of enterprise applications and data ecosystems. You bring proven experience in application landscape analysis, enterprise architecture and data modeling, as well as hands-on knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Warehouse, Power BI, SharePoint and the Power Platform. Experience in defining target architectures, optimizing data flows and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in complex environments is essential.
