We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our client's organization and help shape future-proof architectures across business, application, data, security, and technology domains. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic vision with hands-on architectural expertise while contributing to large-scale transformation, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives within a complex environment.
As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in defining architectural roadmaps, guiding technology decisions, and ensuring that business objectives are translated into scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and steer architecture decisions across one or more specialist domains, including infrastructure, applications, data, security, and business processes.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide architecture governance and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Perform impact assessments, system analyses, and scenario analyses for major transformation programs.
- Lead the rationalization of application and technology landscapes, including cloud migration and legacy modernization initiatives.
- Integrate security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into architectural solutions, incorporating risk management and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams and contribute to project management activities such as planning, estimation, coordination, cost management, and delivery oversight.
- Ensure that architectural decisions support both current business needs and long-term strategic goals.
Technical Expertise
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or Specialist Architect within domains such as networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies and modelling techniques, including ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Hands-on experience designing cloud platforms, APIs, and modern distributed architectures.
- Extensive experience with data architecture, data modelling, data governance, and master data management in large organizations.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, including Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI platforms.
- Additional expertise in geospatial technologies, GIS integrations, monitoring and early-warning systems, IoT, edge computing, or machine learning platforms is considered an advantage.
- Development experience with technologies such as .NET/C#, Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native web architectures is a plus.
- Previous experience in public-sector, government, or highly regulated environments is highly valued.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate combines broad enterprise architecture knowledge with deep expertise in at least one specialist domain. You are comfortable operating in complex environments, translating business requirements into secure and scalable solutions, and assessing the impact of architectural decisions across large transformation programs.
You bring strong analytical and coordination skills, understand how business processes influence architectural design, and thrive in stakeholder-driven environments where collaboration, governance, and strategic thinking are essential.
