Function
Your Role
This position combines hands-on fieldwork with remote technical support. You will play a key role in ensuring advanced passenger information and communication systems are successfully deployed and maintained across various locations.
On-Site Responsibilities
You will regularly travel across Western and Northern Europe, working in different environments such as manufacturing facilities, operator sites, and test runs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Installing and configuring software on-board systems
- Delivering hands-on training to customers to ensure effective system usage
- Performing testing, validation, and system inspections to guarantee quality standards
- Documenting activities and reporting clearly using internal tools
Remote Responsibilities
When not on-site, you will be based at the company’s headquarters in Belgium, providing technical support and collaborating with internal teams.
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary technical point of contact for customers
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues remotely
- Supporting project delivery in collaboration with project management and engineering teams
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, ICT, or equivalent experience
- Experience with system testing and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of Linux, software and hardware systems, and networking (TCP/IP, FTP, SSH, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus (e.g., French, Spanish, German, Arabic)
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of the time within Western Europe
