Full Stack Java Developer

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to reinforce our client’s technology team. You'll contribute to the development of a cutting-edge internal platform tailored for risk management professionals. The focus is on building an application that serves as a central hub designed to be intuitive, informative, and comprehensive for users ranging from operational managers to executive-level stakeholders.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As part of an team, you’ll:

• Develop full-stack web applications using Java and Angular within a modern cloud-native architecture.
• Contribute to the front-end development with Angular to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Build scalable and robust back-end solutions using Java SDK, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Work within a cloud environment (OpenShift/Kubernetes) and handle containerized deployments using Docker.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through automated CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and peer reviews.
• Collaborate actively with team members, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver features in short, iterative sprints using tools like Jira and MS Teams.

Tech Stack & Tools

You’ll be working with:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Framework (Boot & Core), Hibernate, Angular
• Cloud & Infrastructure: OpenShift (Kubernetes by Red Hat), Docker, Git
• Monitoring & Analysis: Kibana (log analysis), Prometheus (alert management)
• DevOps Practices: CI/CD pipelines, continuous releasing, code reviews, and test automation

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for proactive and technically sound professionals who:

• Have strong expertise in Java development and are well-versed in the Spring ecosystem.
• Are experienced with Angular and front-end development principles.
• Bring hands-on knowledge of Docker and OpenShift or similar cloud-native platforms.
• Are driven, flexible, and eager to contribute in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven Agile environment.

Other requirements

• Communicate fluently and effectively in English and Dutch
• Able to work 50% onsite, combined with teleworking.
