Function
Our client is looking for an experienced full-stack .NET developer to strengthen a multidisciplinary agile team working in a bilingual environment. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications, helping deliver high-quality functionality in close collaboration with developers, testers, business analysts, the product owner, and the Scrum Master.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Translate functional analyses into technical specifications and support the validation of those specifications with the business analyst.
- Investigate and resolve second-line technical issues and provide support to colleagues when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes, software quality, and technical practices.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and unit tests to support stable development, testing, and production environments.
- Work closely with the agile team in a SAFe context to deliver software iteratively and incrementally.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including documentation produced by junior developers, and share knowledge within the team.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with .NET Framework, C#, and .NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Blazor.
- Knowledge of MS SQL.
- Experience with messaging patterns such as NServiceBus.
- Exposure to gRPC and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is considered a plus.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a .NET developer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A mindset focused on continuous learning and improvement.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative, socially skilled, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a strong sense of responsibility and customer focus.
Practical Information
- The environment is bilingual, with Dutch- and French-speaking stakeholders.
- Language requirements: fluent Dutch or French, with understanding of the second national language and basic written and spoken communication; passive knowledge of English.
- Work arrangement: 2 days per week on-site and 3 days per week remote.
