Functional Analist / Project Manager

We're looking for a professional to join our client's team, contributing to the development of a robust digital platform that enhances user experience and self-service functionalities. Our client is focused on modernizing a public application to facilitate better interaction and service delivery for citizens. This role involves working within an Agile environment, allowing for collaborative development with business stakeholders and iterative delivery.

The successful candidate will take on several responsibilities, including:

• Analysis & Functional Design:
  • Translating business needs into functional analyses and solution proposals.
  • Developing new functionalities such as self-service flows and communication modules.
  • Creating user stories, use cases, and process descriptions.
  • Ensuring consistency and reusability within the application landscape.
• Coordination & Integration:
  • Aligning with solution architects and backend teams.
  • Defining interfaces, APIs, and data flows.
  • Serving as a bridge between business and IT.
• Project Leadership:
  • Developing and monitoring project planning, scope, and priorities.
  • Coordinating team activities and reporting on progress and risks.
  • Acting as a primary contact for stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Guiding and executing test activities.
  • Maintaining standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring clear and up-to-date documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in functional analysis and project management. Key qualifications include:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a functional analyst in web applications.
• Proficient in managing integrated systems and complex data flows.
• Experienced in project leadership, preferably in Agile environments.
• Strong people and stakeholder management capabilities, with demonstrated experience leading teams.
• Technical affinity with a good understanding of software development processes and integration with APIs.

Proficiency in Dutch or French and active knowledge of English is required for effective communication within diverse teams.
