Functional Analyst

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our client’s team and play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative low-code solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the roadmap, and ensuring that digital solutions built on Microsoft’s Power Platform deliver real value to users and stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure that product initiatives align with business goals and user needs.
Role & Responsibilities
As Product Owner, you will guide the development lifecycle and ensure that the product backlog reflects the highest value priorities.

Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team focuses on the most valuable initiatives and features.

Refine user stories and define clear acceptance criteria so development teams have a strong understanding of requirements.

Collect new initiatives and change requests, and facilitate intake sessions to understand stakeholder needs.

Prioritize initiatives based on technical and functional analysis, business value, and strategic priorities.

Collaborate closely with the development and CoE teams, reviewing and validating completed increments during sprint reviews.

Monitor and measure product performance and use insights and feedback to guide future product decisions.

Regularly report progress to leadership and key stakeholders, including presenting ROI during steering committee meetings.

Stay up to date with the latest developments and innovations within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
Profile & Experience
Our client is seeking a consultant who combines strong product ownership capabilities with a solid understanding of low-code platforms.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform services such as Power Apps and Power Automate.

Strong understanding of low-code development principles and solution delivery.

Experience facilitating product ceremonies such as intake sessions, backlog refinement, and planning sessions.

Familiarity with tools such as Confluence and Jira.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
The Ideal Candidate

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in the context of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.

Fundamental knowledge of Power BI and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Experience working in projects related to public services or public transport is considered a strong advantage.

Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (Dutch or French at C level, the other language at least B2, English at least B2).

Available to work in Belgium with a minimum of 2 days per week on-site presence.
