We're looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to join our client and support the evolution of a large-scale digital services platform.

Our client is developing a secure, user-centric online platform that enables citizens and businesses to manage administrative processes, access personal data, and interact seamlessly with public services. The platform is designed to be scalable, data-driven, and highly available, offering personalized user experiences and integrating multiple services into a single digital environment.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving this platform by translating business needs into functional solutions:

• Analyze and understand business requirements coming from multiple stakeholders
• Support the evolution of the platform based on user feedback and UX research
• Structure and model data, ensuring consistency and usability across the platform
• Analyze and formalize business processes, rules, and logic
• Perform detailed functional analyses and translate them into clear specifications
• Write and refine user stories and contribute to backlog management
• Define integration and technical constraints in collaboration with technical teams
• Ensure solutions fit within the broader IT architecture and guarantee interoperability
• Follow up on development and deployment to ensure alignment with business needs

Project Environment & Collaboration

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a complex and evolving ecosystem:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and quality teams
• Contribute to service orchestration, data exchange, and integration with external systems
• Support the definition of test scenarios together with QA and development teams
• Provide functional expertise and guidance to internal teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and platform capabilities

Profile & Key Skills

We are looking for a structured and experienced analyst with strong communication skills:

• Proven experience as a Senior Functional Analyst
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Solid expertise in BPMN and UML modelling
• Experience in writing user stories and managing functional requirements
• Good understanding of SOA and system integration concepts
• Basic familiarity with AWS is a plus
• Experience in public sector or user-centric digital platforms is an asset
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and solution-oriented

Languages & Requirements

• Fluent in French
• Good working knowledge of English and Dutch
• Willingness to work on-site on a regular basis
