We're seeking a skilled consultant to join our client's team, focusing on understanding and resolving business problems while ensuring effective integration into the enterprise production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business requirements, mapping solutions, and analyzing associated costs and benefits.

Responsibilities and Role

During the preparation phase, the consultant will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to facilitate thoughtful solutions that align with enterprise architecture and strategy. Key tasks include:

• Proposing alternative solutions that consider cost/benefit analysis
• Advising clients on enterprise standards related to architecture and security
• Coordinating with architects and project stakeholders for comprehensive understanding of client needs

In the elaboration phase, the candidate will translate business requirements into functional specifications and define application design impacts across various components. This includes:

• Aligning with asset teams on functional responsibilities
• Detailing requirements for technical teams and ensuring implementation compliance

Tasks and Support

During construction, the consultant will oversee development and testing to ensure the alignment of functional specifications with the solution. Responsibilities include:

• Providing definitions of components supported by various teams
• Assisting suppliers during development and integration testing
• Analyzing defects and supporting operational support post-installation

The consultant will also coordinate solutions for production incidents and maintain relevant documentation. The working methodology adopts an Agile framework, where preparation, elaboration, and construction are integrated into sprints.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, showcasing a solid understanding of both functional and technical aspects of IT systems. Essential qualifications include:

• Knowledge of the banking sector and associated technical domains
• Experience with analysis methodologies per enterprise standards
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, with an additional local language

Soft skills are equally vital, with a focus on being methodical, analytical, communicative, and adaptable. The candidate should demonstrate teamwork spirit and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is an advantage.
