Functional Analyst

Function

We’re looking for a Functional Analyst to join our client’s digital product team. In this role, you will help translate business needs into clear functional requirements and contribute to the delivery of modern applications in a collaborative Agile environment. You will work closely with developers, integrators, and business stakeholders to ensure functional consistency and smooth delivery across multiple teams.

Role & Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional analyses, use cases, and user stories for implementation
• Ensure consistency and alignment of functional choices across the project landscape
• Support and follow up on development activities from a functional perspective
• Perform functional testing and validate delivered functionalities
• Assist development teams with functional and business-related questions
• Help maintain continuity between analysis, development, and delivery phases
• Identify blockers, resolve issues, and coordinate dependencies with other teams and stakeholders

Technical Skills & Experience

• Experience in functional analysis and translating business needs into requirements
• Good understanding of functional system behavior and application flows
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Functional testing
  • Jira and Confluence
  • RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
  • SQL
  • UX/UI concepts and collaboration with design teams
• Previous experience as a Functional Analyst in a complex application environment is highly valued

• Dutch: Native or professional proficiency
