Functional Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to join our client’s team and play a key role in a major business transformation environment. You’ll work across a variety of projects, supporting the transition, modernization and development of business applications from initial requirements through to delivery.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys working closely with both business and technical stakeholders, translating complex needs into pragmatic solutions, and operating in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, project teams, managers and external partners.
• Analyse, document and validate existing business processes and identify new functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional analyses, application designs and actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to validate functional solutions and translate them into technical specifications.
• Follow the delivery of new functionalities and applications end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business expectations.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers to refine solutions, facilitate decisions, manage risks and escalate issues when required.
• Produce clear and comprehensive documentation throughout the different phases of the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of more junior team members.

Key Deliverables

You will be responsible for producing, within agreed deadlines:

• Functional and business analysis documentation
• Software Requirements Specifications, including relevant diagrams and analysis
• Data models
• User stories
• Test plans and test cases

Your Profile

We’re looking for a solution-oriented professional who can quickly understand complex business environments and turn them into practical, well-structured solutions.

You bring:

• Solid experience in Functional and Business Analysis
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with UML and BPMN
• Strong ability to write clear user stories and functional requirements
• Experience with test analysis and test design
• Good understanding
