Function
Our client is looking for a functional analyst to support a range of judicial and identity-related projects within its ICT and information management environment. The assignment sits in a context where biometric capabilities are being modernized to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of identity verification and search processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage one or more functional analysis processes.
- Analyse and model end-user needs.
- Collect, document, and prioritize stakeholder requirements.
- Write detailed functional specifications.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and business processes.
- Work closely with developers to ensure technical solutions align with functional needs.
- Define the tests linked to the analysis and specification phases.
- Act as the main point of contact for the assigned functional topics.
- Prepare and deliver user training where needed.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of functional analysis methods and process description techniques.
- Experience with process modelling and visual documentation, including UML and BPMN.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Ability to use Excel for advanced data analysis, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with Visio or an equivalent tool such as Draw.io.
- Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
- Understanding of API management.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an asset.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and ISO-related standards is a plus.
- Experience with test management and test automation tools is an advantage.
- Experience with prototyping is considered a strong asset.
