As part of the Cyber and IT Risk Management directorate (IRM), the IT Process Office supports the organization with secure, efficient, and user-friendly processes. We’re now looking for a driven Business Analyst / Functional Analyst to strengthen our IT Asset Management capabilities and help transform IT processes through innovative, standardized solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Process Office.

• Proactively create cost-effective IT solutions in an agile manner.

• Support problem-solving initiatives, focusing on end-to-end process efficiency.

• Collaborate with IT Process Managers to ensure integration and standardization across related processes (incident, change, request management, etc.).

• Gather and validate requirements from stakeholders (system architects, SAP team, ServiceNow team, process managers, regulators) and translate them into working solutions.

• Perform root cause analyses and propose corrective actions.

• Support testing, validation, and change management activities.

• Document processes and configurations clearly, ensuring traceability of decisions.

• Work with system architects to analyze and optimize the IT asset management data model.

• Support epics where process aspects are critical.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new content and eagerness to learn.

• The capability to translate complex concepts into clear, simple messages.

• A dynamic, proactive, and result-driven attitude.

• Team player mentality, with a strong interest in IT processes (knowledge of SDLC and asset lifecycle management is a plus).

• Experience with data quality measurement and process improvement (a plus, not a must)

Technical and Business Skills

• JIRA, Confluence, Office 365 – for collaboration and documentation.

• Visio – for process documentation.

Nice to have:

• ServiceNow – core platform for asset and configuration management.

• TRAcIT – supporting governance and compliance tools.
