Functional Business Analyst

Function

We are seeking a Business & Functional Analyst to support various projects across multiple locations. This role is essential for gathering detailed requirements and functional specifications for the development and enhancement of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Gather detailed requirements and develop functional specifications for IT system improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager, and relevant business teams to exchange knowledge on functional and regulatory requirements.
• Create functional specifications and produce deliverables related to assigned projects, assisting with post-implementation support.
• Work with vendors implementing systems to ensure required functionalities are communicated and validated for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop test cases for users and validate test results during user acceptance testing.
• Update process documentation and create reusable and shareable assets.

Skills

• Ability to create User Stories, Story Maps, and functional requirements.
• Experience in drafting Use Cases and defining non-functional requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria and possess a technical background in cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure), coding or SaaS solutions, especially regarding data integration techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Capable of analyzing business partner activities to understand strengths and weaknesses.
• Insight into the systems and capabilities of the IT organization.
• Process-oriented and analytical thinker.
• Understanding of business functions.

Practical Information

This is a long-term consulting opportunity, supporting projects in Belgium and other EU Countries. Fluent Dutch and English are required for this role.
