Functioneel Analist

Our client is looking for a functional analyst to support the realization of various business-IT projects, bridging the gap between business and technical teams.

Your Role

• Play a key role in analyzing and delivering IT solutions that create value for both customers and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with domain architects and product owners to translate business needs and processes into functional components and analyses.

• Bring structure by transforming features into story mapping, creating a clear overview of all user stories.

• Work iteratively to refine and describe functionalities clearly for both business and technical teams.

• Closely cooperate with a multidisciplinary project team, including product owners, project managers, architects, software engineers, and UX designers.

• Follow application development closely, staying one sprint ahead of development teams to ensure your input is incorporated on time. After development, validate functionalities through testing and control.

Your Profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, understand, and document processes and structures.

• Familiarity with or willingness to learn techniques such as User Story Mapping, User Story Writing, UML, BPMN, Wireframing, and Domain Modelling.

• A critical mindset, questioning both business and IT on the added value of requested changes or expansions.

• Creativity and innovation, with a solution-oriented approach.

• Experience with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of related values and principles.

• Detail-oriented, capable of working independently while managing your tasks efficiently.

• A true team player with a proactive attitude towards both the team and business.

• Fluency in Dutch is required; proficiency in English and French is a plus.
