We’re looking for a skilled consultant to join our client’s team and play a key role in a large-scale modernization initiative. The program focuses on transforming a legacy monolithic application into a modern microservices-based architecture, leveraging cloud technologies to significantly improve scalability, agility, and service delivery. Beyond technical modernization, this initiative drives a broader business transformation aimed at enabling new capabilities and delivering innovative functionalities aligned with evolving market needs.
Responsibilities & Role
In this position, you will act as a bridge between business and technology, contributing to both strategic direction and technical execution. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth analysis to identify business opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Creating and maintaining clear technical and functional documentation for development and QA teams
- Leading and supporting Agile adoption and Business Process Modeling (BPMN) initiatives
- Managing interface contracts for both synchronous and asynchronous system communication
- Contributing to data governance, data modeling, and ensuring data quality and compliance standards
- Supporting validation of functional requirements through structured testing approaches
- Collaborating with stakeholders and providing leadership within project teams
- Applying strong time management and coordination practices to support successful delivery
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You are comfortable operating in complex environments where business and IT intersect.
You should bring:
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks and SCRUM methodologies
- Solid experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data modeling practices
- Experience designing and interpreting sequence diagrams
- Familiarity with modern IT tools and enterprise system landscapes
- Ability to coordinate teams and contribute to project leadership activities
- Understanding of testing methodologies and quality validation approaches
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English is required
- Knowledge of Dutch or French is considered a strong advantage
