Head of Data

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, an innovative organization that supports professionals with cutting-edge legal and digital solutions. Our mission is to empower our stakeholders with effective tools and services, enabling them to serve citizens and businesses with increased efficiency while evolving within the intersection of law and technology.

Responsibilities and Role

In this crucial role, you will guide the Data, AI, and BI teams, defining and executing strategies that align with business objectives. You will play an essential role in driving data-driven decision-making while managing a budget and overseeing the delivery of high-impact data initiatives. Furthermore, you will serve as the key liaison, connecting internal stakeholders, including IT management and product teams, with external partners such as suppliers and market networks.

Key Tasks

• Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams in Data, AI, and BI.
• Develop and implement a long-term vision and roadmap for data-driven innovation.
• Promote a data culture across the organization and its stakeholders.
• Drive strategic initiatives to deliver measurable business value.
• Influence technological and supplier choices to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure proactive data alignment and synergy.

The Ideal Candidate

• Exceptional communication skills with strong public speaking abilities.
• Proven experience in managing teams (15+ people).
• At least 10 years of experience in data governance, AI, BI, or a related field.
• Experience in agile environments and managing complex projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in English, Dutch, and French.
