We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM) to enhance the security and governance of access processes. As a critical member of the Security team, you will work closely with various departments to develop and maintain IAM strategies that align with applicable laws and security principles. Your expertise will play a vital role in analyzing and improving user access processes, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and refining our client's IAM strategy based on existing tools and configurations, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources to design or adapt Job Management Life Cycle (JML) processes and role-based access controls to support IAM lifecycles.
  • Assisting in the automation and streamlining of current workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Regularly reviewing and validating defined role-based access control (RBAC) and attributes to ensure compliance with set standards.
  • Facilitating user access recertification processes while adhering to strict audit and regulatory controls.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation that reflects current processes, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will exhibit the following qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and proficient in one of the national languages (Dutch or French) with passive knowledge of the other.
  • Proven experience in defining and enhancing IAM processes, particularly Job Management and recertification.
  • Strong familiarity with password vaulting and Privileged Access Management solutions and a thorough understanding of IAM operating models.
  • Experience with Identity Governance Administration (IGA) solutions and Active Directory/Entra ID, with a grasp of identity data flows and provisioning principles.
  • A background in regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR and NIS.
  • Proficiency in scripting and process automation as an appreciated asset, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Qualifications & Skills

In addition to the above, you should possess:

  • Experience with IAM integration protocols and APIs, like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • A capability to create impactful reports that identify and address provisioning inconsistencies.
  • The ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborating effectively with IT teams.
  • The willingness to take initiative in reviewing and validating IAM tools and processes.
