Function
- Conduct installation verification and quality checks for trackside equipment, cabinets, and fiber optics
- Prepare and execute configuration and testing activities, including creating test specifications and reports
- Perform on-site data downloading activities and configure trackside equipment
- Configure and update interface components in cabinets, including software updates
- Configure IT network components
- Conduct end-to-end correspondence tests for trackside equipment and interface components for SIMIS-W Interlocking
- Document test activities, including procedures and reports
- Test and commission ICT systems
- Participate in commissioning activities of Interlocking projects
- Provide technical support for on-site activities and troubleshooting
- Participate in guard duty and interventions on a 24/7 basis
Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in electronics & automation, electromechanics
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical and electrical plans, specifically in the railway sector
- Experience in testing and commissioning activities, preferably in industrial environments
- First professional working experience required due to the complexity of the project environment
- Experience/knowledge in IT and networking connectivity and the use of ICT applications and tools
- Knowledge of interlocking/signaling systems and ETCS is a plus
- Experience with signaling installation works, preferably for a railway infrastructure operator, is a plus
- Experience in working on Cenelec SIL projects is a plus
- VCA-B certificate is required
- BA4/BA5 ability certification
- Driver's License B
- Expected language skills: Dutch & French (English is a plus)
