Information Security Auditor NIS2

We’re looking for a consultant to join our client's team in preparation for verification and certification processes. The ideal candidate will be an experienced information security specialist with a strong understanding of the latest legislative frameworks.

This is a mission for 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

The focus of this role includes engaging a specialist to undertake necessary actions based on the CyberFundamentals Framework. This involves:

• Guiding our client in the establishment of security policies in compliance with relevant legislation, including developing or adapting procedures and documenting processes.
• Conducting internal audits to prepare for verification by an assessment body, aiming to identify and resolve potential gaps in compliance.
• Representing our client during the verification process with an accredited conformity assessment body.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The selected candidate will possess extensive knowledge of our client and the sectors in which they operate, with specific qualifications including:

• 10 years of experience in information security encompassing practical, organizational, and legal aspects.
• A relevant degree, such as a Master’s in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in drafting disaster recovery and business continuity plans, with a solid grasp of security in industrial settings.
• Expertise in risk analysis frameworks such as ISO2700X and familiarity with NIS2 legislation.
• A strong technical understanding of compliance requirements and hands-on experience with measures, including network segmentation and cryptography.
• Solid experience in vendor screening and negotiations relating to privacy and information security.
• Established relationships with regulatory authorities and demonstrated experience in risk management.
• Ability to analyze problems effectively and generate practical solutions.
• Able to work onsite when needed (not fully remote)
• Fluent in Dutch or French, combined with English
