Information Security Officer

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team to enhance and implement their information security framework. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding information assets within the organization.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Acting as an expert in information security compliance.
• Ensuring the full implementation of the Information Security Target Model across Global Aviation IT.
• Assisting technical teams to meet industry-standard information security practices.
• Developing and implementing best practices in collaboration with various divisions.
• Performing compliance assessments and evaluating non-compliance and remediation actions.
• Facilitating internal and external audits, ensuring follow-up and closure of findings.
• Planning and conducting vendor assessments against information security requirements.
• Managing the risk portfolio both internally and with vendors.
• Establishing standards and procedures for information security.
• Creating and executing information security awareness campaigns.

The Ideal Profile

We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing, using, or auditing ISO Management structures, particularly ISO 27001.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and network operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for compiling documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow is a bonus.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Well-organized, with the ability to plan, set objectives, and accomplish tasks independently.
