Infrastructure Engineer

Function

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work at the heart of our client’s technical environment, contributing to the design, improvement and stability of critical infrastructure components while collaborating closely with architects and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver infrastructure projects within one or more technical domains.

• Provide recommendations to optimize the infrastructure and support their implementation.

• Maintain and update technical documentation (guidelines, architecture, procedures) within your domain.

• Help resolve major incidents assigned to your team, in collaboration with the support department.

• Stay up to date with technological evolutions and, together with the Infrastructure Architect, help shape the future direction of your technical domain.

Your profile – the ideal candidate

• You are comfortable working in a project-based manner, including planning and project management.

• You can produce clear technical documentation (project documentation, procedures, etc.).

• You are flexible, collaborative and thrive in a team environment.

• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent through experience).

• Experience with infrastructure projects and in a Windows IT environment is a strong asset.

• Knowledge of SAN storage, data centers, applications and virtualization (Hyper-V) is a plus.

• You are proactive, resourceful and enjoy taking initiative to find and share solutions with your team.

• You are motivated to continuously develop your skills and stay ahead in a fast-evolving technical landscape.
