Infrastructure Security Project

Function

Our client is seeking an experienced project manager to coordinate multiple security and infrastructure initiatives in a complex international IT environment. This consulting opportunity is focused on governance, communication, and follow-up rather than hands-on technical delivery, making it an excellent fit for someone who can keep several workstreams aligned and moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Manage several security and infrastructure projects in parallel, typically four to five at a time.
• Define and track project scope, planning, budget, risks, and dependencies for each initiative.
• Translate stakeholder expectations into clear project objectives and actionable plans.
• Organize and lead steering committees and provide clear, consistent reporting.
• Ensure alignment between team leads, system engineers, and external partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for projects within the security and infrastructure domain.
• Contribute to the rollout and operationalization of the organization’s security and infrastructure strategy.

Technical Skills

The role spans a range of infrastructure and security-related topics. The project manager will be involved in initiatives such as:

• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Digital workplace solutions
• Hybrid cloud and infrastructure projects

A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security is important to challenge content in a meaningful way, but deep technical execution is not the focus of the role. Knowledge of NIS2 is not required at this stage.

Profile

• Proven experience as a project manager in complex IT environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Structured, pragmatic, and results-driven approach.
• Able to work confidently in an international and hybrid setting.
• Content-level familiarity with IAM, hybrid cloud, and digital workplace topics.

Practical Information

• Consulting assignment of 12 months.
• Hybrid working model with 2 days per week on-site.
• The environment is international and multi-entity, covering Belgium, the Netherlands, and Ireland.
• Languages: fluent Dutch and fluent English.
