Integration Architect

Function

We’re seeking an Integration Architect to support our client’s digital transformation initiatives.
You will join the team responsible for defining integration standards, evaluating emerging technologies, and shaping complex cross-departmental architectures. You’ll play a key role in designing solutions that ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable integrations across a broad IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain integration guidelines, standards, and best practices in collaboration with IT delivery teams.
• Contribute to the architecture of complex integrations involving multiple business domains.
• Promote and improve the use of integration tools and platforms such as Azure ServiceBus, EventHub, LogicApps, and an API gateway.
• Own the documentation and maintenance of integration assets and services across business domains.
• Ensure quality and consistency across integration designs, participating in internal process improvements and governance.

Role & Tasks

• Translate complex requirements into clear, compliant integration designs including mappings, workflows, and message formats.
• Create and maintain integration flowcharts and interface specifications according to client standards.
• Serve as the point of contact during test phases, managing defect resolution and scope validation.
• Collaborate closely with project leads, analysts, business stakeholders, and domain architects to deliver functional and non-functional integration outcomes.
• Provide technical support post-deployment using available monitoring and analysis tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively across various IT teams.
• Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to a complex enterprise environment.
• Comfortable creating documentation, conducting impact analyses, and participating in test activities.

Required Expertise

• Solid understanding of Azure Integration Services, .NET (6+), REST/JSON, SQL, and database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with integration patterns such as orchestration, mapping, security, and gateways.
• Proven track record in interface design and functional specification writing.
• Familiarity with data modeling, functional asset management, and workflow integrations.
