Integration Engineer
Function
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join their dynamic team managing the full value chain of financial instrument processing. This includes everything from placing and executing stock orders to handling corporate actions, across multiple platforms that serve both internal departments and external financial institutions.
Role Overview
As part of a diverse and international team, you’ll act as a key player in maintaining seamless operations behind trading services. You’ll bridge the gap between technical systems and business users, supporting essential infrastructure used for order execution and feedback handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between end-users and third-party software vendors to ensure application performance and user satisfaction.
- Contribute to technical and functional analysis from a business perspective in response to new requirements or issues.
- Maintain and fine-tune applications including upgrades, parameter adjustments, and production support.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and propose sustainable solutions.
- Work with FIX protocol-based message processing systems (knowledge of FIX is a plus, but not a must).
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent through experience.
- Required Skills: JavaScript, Jira, Open Systems
- Nice to Have: Confluence, IBM MQ, MySQL, Sophis
- A strong interest in the trading environment and financial services.
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to independently investigate and resolve problems.
- Collaborative, communicative, and eager to learn.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
