Function
We're looking for talented and motivated Interface and Data Migration Analysts to join our client's team. This role involves contributing to a large-scale implementation project within a hospital environment, where you will be responsible for designing and developing robust interface and data migration processes that enhance interoperability and operational efficiency in patient care.
Responsibilities
You will play a critical role in:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces using Mirth Connect to ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HL7 v2/v3, FHIR).
- Executing data migration and transformation flows for clinical, administrative, and reference data.
- Analyzing source systems, data models, and business rules to meet data mapping requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, medical staff, administration, and Epic analysts, to implement integration solutions.
- Troubleshooting integration issues to guarantee system interoperability and performance.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to articulate them in formal functional and technical specifications.
- Proficient in producing clean, maintainable, and efficient integration code.
- Experience in data analysis, mapping, and quality control.
- Familiarity with Mirth Connect or ETL tools, as well as Java programming for custom scripting (an asset).
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and HL7 standards.
- Experience with Epic interfaces or data migration is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with French considered a valuable asset. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their level of proficiency in these languages according to the CEFR scale.
