IoT System Engineer (Camera Systems)

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical or engineering background, preferably at the Bachelor's or Master's level, and will have relevant experience in ICT technology. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing and defining requirements across various stakeholders, while also assessing their impact on projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks

You will engage in various aspects of project management including costs, timing, and planning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and analyzing requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure solutions.
• Implementing and overseeing IoT technologies specifically around surveillance systems and associated components.
• Applying your knowledge of relevant ITIL processes, focusing on change management.
• Acting in a systems administrator capacity for setup, management, and maintenance of systems.
• Ensuring compliance with up-to-date ICT security concepts.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will bring a wealth of experience in the following areas:

• Project management with a clear understanding of budgeting, timelines, and forecasting.
• Four years of experience with IoT technology related to surveillance systems.
• Three years of experience in ICT infrastructure alongside basic system management.
• Familiarity with common ICT security concepts.
• Proficient knowledge in ITIL processes, particularly related to change management.

A strong grasp of the Dutch language is required, with at least a C2 level according to the European CEFR standards. Fluency in English is also necessary.
