IT Analyst Order Entry

Our client is looking for a skilled IT analyst to join their team and support a strategic digital integration initiative. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex IT landscapes, bridging the gap between local systems and broader digital platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery while collaborating closely with developers, business stakeholders, and project teams.
Role & Responsibilities
As an IT analyst on this project, you will:

Dive into both existing local Order Entry applications and the broader integration platform from day one.

Serve as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Conduct IT and impact analyses based on user stories and feature requirements.

Guide and track the progress of development teams, both onshore and offshore.

Execute and oversee testing activities to ensure software quality.

Take end-to-end ownership of deployment, quality assurance, and project deliverables.

Participate in project management tasks and maintain project documentation.
The project follows an Agile/Scrum methodology with monthly sprints, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Technical Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

3–5 years of experience as an IT analyst.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to abstract, structure, and solve complex problems.

Expertise in reverse engineering and understanding legacy systems.
-
Ability to read and interpret Mainframe code (PL/I & Cool:Gen) as well as .NET applications.

Attention to detail in software analysis, implementation, and testing.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with Order Entry processes or similar transactional systems.

Background in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with Scrum or Agile project methodologies.

Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
