IT Analyst Order Entry

Our client is looking for a skilled IT analyst to join their team and support a strategic digital integration initiative. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex IT landscapes, bridging the gap between local systems and broader digital platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery while collaborating closely with developers, business stakeholders, and project teams.

Role & Responsibilities
As an IT analyst on this project, you will:

• Dive into both existing local Order Entry applications and the broader integration platform from day one.

• Serve as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

• Conduct IT and impact analyses based on user stories and feature requirements.

• Guide and track the progress of development teams, both onshore and offshore.

• Execute and oversee testing activities to ensure software quality.

• Take end-to-end ownership of deployment, quality assurance, and project deliverables.

• Participate in project management tasks and maintain project documentation.

The project follows an Agile/Scrum methodology with monthly sprints, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Technical Profile
The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years of experience as an IT analyst.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to abstract, structure, and solve complex problems.

• Expertise in reverse engineering and understanding legacy systems.

• Ability to read and interpret Mainframe code (PL/I & Cool:Gen) as well as .NET applications.

• Attention to detail in software analysis, implementation, and testing.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with Order Entry processes or similar transactional systems.

• Background in industrial or manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with Scrum or Agile project methodologies.

Personal Attributes

• Quick to adapt and learn in a new environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
