IT Contract & Vendor Manager

Function

Our client is seeking an experienced sourcing and contract management professional to support IT software-related procurement activities within a public sector environment. The assignment calls for a strong background in commercial and contractual management, along with the ability to work effectively in a multilingual setting and collaborate closely with stakeholders on procurement matters.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and contract management activities related to IT software and IT services.
• Contribute to procurement processes in a public sector context, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
• Help manage contractual topics across the lifecycle of software-related engagements.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to align procurement deliverables and contractual obligations.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience as a sourcing or contract manager in IT software-related projects, with this experience clearly demonstrated in the CV.
• At least 2 years of experience in public sector procurement of software and/or IT services, with this experience clearly demonstrated in the CV.
• Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
• Dutch or French at C1 level; the other languages at minimum B2 level.
• Willingness to work on-site at least two days per week.

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of sourcing and contract management practices.
• Experience with procurement processes for software and IT services.
• Ability to demonstrate compliance with selection criteria through clear CV-based justification.

Practical Information

• This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
• On-site presence is required at least two days per week.
• Language requirements: fluent English, Dutch, and French; Dutch or French at C1 level and the other languages at least B2.
