IT Functional analyst

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our client's team, where you'll play a key role in analyzing business challenges and developing effective solutions to enhance productivity within a complex enterprise environment. Your insight will not only identify existing issues but also propose viable alternatives aligned with architectural standards and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Throughout the preparation phase, you will:

• Collaborate with business analysts, project owners, and clients to facilitate reflection on potential solutions.
• Provide guidance to ensure client understanding of and adherence to enterprise rules and architectural standards.
• Work closely with architects to develop the foundational architecture.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and technical teams, ensuring clarity of needs and a unified approach.

In the elaboration phase, your focus will shift to:

• Transforming business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Aligning with team members on functional responsibilities.
• Designing the application and assessing impacts on various components.
• Coordinating with technical teams to establish their requirements.

Diving into the construction phase, you will:

• Monitor development and testing phases to ensure consistency with functional designs.
• Provide technical specifications for integrated components.
• Assist suppliers during development and testing.
• Evaluate defects arising during testing and support deployment teams in various environments.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of relevant experience with both functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems. A background in mobile development (iOS/Android) is beneficial. A successful candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of the banking sector and its technical landscape.
• Familiarity with analysis methodologies aligned with enterprise standards.
• Practical experience with Agile, particularly Scrum, is a plus.

Language Requirements

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with additional language skills considered an asset.

Work Arrangement

The role is expected to be performed in a hybrid model, with approximately 50% of the work completed on-site and 50% remotely.
