IT Project Manager
Function
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our client's Operations division and lead the successful delivery of projects related to building and operational IT systems. This includes physical security and facility-related technologies such as video surveillance, fire detection, intrusion detection, access control systems, and workplace services. The role offers the opportunity to manage complex transformation initiatives within a large-scale, highly regulated environment involving multiple internal teams, external partners, and governance stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Lead projects from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards.

Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, risks, and communication plans.

Coordinate business, technical, operational, and external stakeholders across complex multi-stream projects.

Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, delivery partners, and client representatives.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and according to agreed quality standards.

Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Facilitate governance activities, including Steering Committees, executive reporting, decision preparation, and escalation management.

Define non-functional requirements for operational support, service continuity, and the run phase.
The Ideal Candidate

Minimum 15 years of professional IT experience, including at least 10 years in project management.

Extensive experience managing projects involving at least two of the following domains: video surveillance, fire detection, intrusion detection, access control systems, or workplace services.

Strong background in complex enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure services, cloud technologies, workplace transformation, collaboration platforms, and endpoint management.

Proven ability to manage multi-stream projects involving multiple delivery teams and significant interdependencies.

Experience working within public sector and public procurement environments, with knowledge of governance, compliance, and procurement processes.

Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken.

Available to work in a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Brussels.

Leading projects in complex and rapidly evolving environments with changing requirements and competing priorities.

Facilitating governance forums and executive stakeholder meetings.

Producing high-quality status reports, decision papers, and risk and issue escalation documentation.

Delivering large-scale transformation or technology projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
