IT Project Manager Infrastructure
Function
We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our client's IT organization and lead strategic infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of key modernization projects aimed at improving the resilience, security, availability, and overall performance of the IT landscape. Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders, you will drive project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and security regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic infrastructure projects, including the implementation of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) solution.
- Manage the replacement and modernization of critical infrastructure technologies.
- Develop project plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, governance, reporting, and approval processes.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to business case updates and support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications in collaboration with infrastructure specialists and vendor management teams.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and assumptions while proactively managing change throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Profile
We are looking for a consultant with solid experience in infrastructure project delivery and IT transformation. You are comfortable managing complex technical initiatives, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and balancing business priorities with technical requirements. A strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum), PRINCE2, ITIL, CMDB implementations, disaster recovery planning, and change management is essential. Certifications related to IT governance (such as CISA) and experience coaching or mentoring teams are considered valuable assets.
