IT Project Test Analyst

We're looking for an experienced IT Project Test Analyst to join our client's dynamic technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical IT initiatives by defining, coordinating, and executing testing activities across complex projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, identifying risks, and driving quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for IT projects.
• Analyse business and functional requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Support test automation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Produce clear testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed quality standards and business expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar testing role within IT projects.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience creating test cases, test scripts, and defect management documentation.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in an international environment.
