This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant to drive strategic cybersecurity initiatives across critical infrastructure, systems, and cloud environments. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our client’s technology ecosystem is designed and maintained with security and resilience at its core.

Role Overview

As an Information Security Architect, you will support the client's executive cybersecurity leadership in steering the overall security strategy and its implementation. You’ll be responsible for designing and aligning architecture models that adhere to security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles. Your scope will cover both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (especially Azure), systems, software, and associated cybersecurity controls. Your contributions will directly influence how digital assets and services are protected in a complex and evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide cybersecurity goals, strategies, and policies

  • Design and document architecture models and security frameworks

  • Guide secure development, integration, and maintenance of cybersecurity components

  • Evaluate existing architectures and advise on improvements to maintain strong security posture

  • Lead security reviews and assessments of technology systems and services

  • Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical teams to ensure secure alignment across the organization

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

  • Brings 10+ years in key architecture roles within ICT projects, with at least 5 years dedicated to cybersecurity design

  • Possesses deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Architecture, and Cloud Security

  • Demonstrates strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments and SIEM implementations

  • Skilled in developing reference architectures and evaluating alternative solutions

  • Understands core architectural principles related to infrastructure, databases, microservices, BPMS, containers, and enterprise integration

  • A clear communicator who can translate technical complexity into accessible insights for varied audiences

  • Certifications in IT architecture or cybersecurity are a strong asset

  • Previous exposure to government or public-sector environments is an advantage
