IT Service Owner
Function
We’re looking for an experienced IT Service Manager & Application Owner to join our client’s team and take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications within the financial and legal domains. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of a set of non-platform solutions while acting as the key bridge between business stakeholders, external vendors, and technical support teams. This position combines hands-on service management, application ownership, and stakeholder coordination in an environment where operational excellence and structured governance are key.
Role & Responsibilities
As the IT Service Manager & Application Owner, you will oversee the operational lifecycle of multiple business applications and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Manage the daily IT service operations for a portfolio of approximately 14 non-platform applications.

Oversee the lifecycle, performance, and support model of applications used in financial and legal domains, working closely with offshore and third-party support teams.

Ensure alignment with IT service management best practices and internal service standards.

Maintain accurate configuration and application data in the CMDB (ServiceNow) environment.

Act as the primary point of contact for service escalations and coordinate issue resolution with relevant teams.

Lead the handover process from project delivery to operational support, ensuring documentation, knowledge transfer, and access are properly organized.

Coordinate and oversee IT initiatives such as system upgrades, software rollouts, or infrastructure improvements.

Monitor service performance, manage vendor and license agreements, and ensure SLA compliance.

Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, software providers, and IT teams.

Identify opportunities to improve service performance, reduce downtime, and optimize operational costs.
Profile & Experience
Our client is looking for a consultant who combines strong service management expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT service management and application ownership.

Proven experience working with offshore or third-party support models.

Experience managing multiple business applications (10+) simultaneously, ideally within financial or legal environments.

Hands-on experience managing service escalations, incident resolution, and operational continuity.

Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow and CMDB environments.

Experience managing vendor relationships and software or license agreements.

Exposure to financial or legal application landscapes is considered an advantage.

Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is a plus.
