Our client is seeking an IT ServiceDesk Support Engineer to provide exceptional support for devices, Office 365, Windows, and other critical IT solutions. Responsibilities
As an IT ServiceDesk Support Engineer, you will:
- Deliver outstanding support through phone, remote, and on-site assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues (hardware, software, network), escalating complex problems to appropriate third parties when necessary.
- Manage and monitor logged IT tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Support the installation and (re)configuration of devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) and assist with more complex solutions like servers and NAS systems.
- Provide expertise in supported applications, including Windows OS, Windows Server OS, and mobility tools, and take ownership of one or more key applications.
- Contribute to documentation and maintain a knowledge database to enhance future problem-solving.
The Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking for someone who brings:
- Experience: 1-2 years in a Service Desk role, with more experience welcomed.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory (basic support), and foundational understanding of network and firewall systems. Familiarity with Azure is a big plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in Dutch/French and English
- Soft Skills: A calm demeanor under pressure, a collaborative mindset, and a hands-on approach to solving technical challenges.
