Your Role
As a Junior IT Support Engineer, you’ll:

  • Deliver outstanding first-line and second-line IT support via phone, remote tools, and on-site visits, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, including:
    • Hardware issues (laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals).
    • Software errors, system crashes, and application performance problems.
    • Network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
    • VPN setup, management, and remote access troubleshooting.
  • Manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while escalating more complex issues to senior team members.
  • Configure, install, and manage devices such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, as well as participate in basic server and storage setup.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 (email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) and Active Directory (user and group management).
  • Assist in monitoring firewalls and ensuring network security.
  • Contribute to team documentation and knowledge-sharing to improve problem-solving efficiency.

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow, with:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in IT support or service desk roles, making this the perfect opportunity for a junior candidate looking to build on their foundation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (configuration and troubleshooting).
    • Familiarity with Active Directory (user/group management).
    • A foundational understanding of network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
    • Basic troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
    • Exposure to Azure environments is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch, French, and English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Soft Skills: A calm demeanor under pressure, a willingness to collaborate, and a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in technology and a desire to grow your skills in a supportive environment.
