We're looking for a skilled IT Service Desk Field Engineer to support our client in driving innovative energy solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of IT services, working within a collaborative team that values sustainability and innovation. Your technical expertise will contribute to critical infrastructure projects that shape a greener, more reliable future.

This role requires occasional travel between different client offices in Belgium, with a primary location in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities
As part of the IT support team, your main duties will include:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support, including call and mail intake.
  • Managing tickets in the Helpdesk system, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
  • Executing various technical tasks based on predefined processes and checklists.
  • Offering on-site support for hardware setup, including PCs, printers, and peripherals.

Required Expertise
The ideal candidate brings:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Windows 10/11 (configuration, troubleshooting).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of software such as MS Visio and Adobe products.
  • Experience with Active Directory for user management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles (certification required).
  • Basic understanding of VOIP, network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, Wifi), and VPN.
  • Skills in videoconferencing, domotica, and hardware staging.
  • Troubleshooting experience with smartphones, GPRS, and Wifi setups.

Skills and Attributes

  • A flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and/or French, with good command of English.
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow established procedures.
  • A driving license and willingness to travel to various client locations.
  • Analytical thinking with a client-oriented, professional approach.
