IT System Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for an IT professional to join our client's team, focusing on co-managing a complex IT infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic group that integrates closely with external service providers to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment while collaborating with various business users. If you have a generalist mindset to oversee different components of IT systems and enjoy working in a collaborative setting, this opportunity may be for you.

As a critical member of a small System Infrastructure team, your contributions will include:

• Designing and setting up new infrastructure or applications securely.
• Collaborating with applicative IT teams, business users, and service providers to meet business and non-functional requirements such as high availability and security.
• Managing applicative issues day-to-day, ensuring secure operations in partnership with other teams.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support in coordination with colleagues and service providers.
• Handling and following up on security incidents and documenting information for IT personnel and end-users.
• Acting as the liaison between first and third-level support teams.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A mandatory background or education in IT.
• A security-focused mindset and a spirit of investigation, as information may not always be readily available.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and strong documentation skills in English.
• Experience in a similar IT function (server, storage, and network administration) is a plus.
• Practical skills in Microsoft Windows Office tools and general IT infrastructure.
