Our client is looking for an experienced software specialist to strengthen the team responsible for service management tooling within the digital workplace environment. In this role, you will help maintain and improve the tools that support internal users and support teams, with a strong focus on configuration, development, integration, and day-to-day operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Implement functional and technical requirements through configuration and scripting within the user support tools.
• Ensure the operation, maintenance, and ongoing stability of the software together with the team.
• Advise key users on IT service management best practices and tool usage.
• Participate in end-to-end activities related to new developments and configurations.
• Contribute to continuous improvements and further development of the software environment.
• Support integration of the toolset into the broader application and system landscape.
• Assist with testing and training for end users.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with service management tools, preferably Ivanti Service Manager.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL-based service management.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Sound background in planning, developing, operating, and enhancing applications or software systems, both standard and customized.

Profile

• University degree in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with service management tools.
• Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong team player who can also work independently.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with similar platforms such as ServiceNow or Zendesk is an asset.
• Knowledge of MS SQL, SOAP, and REST APIs is an advantage.
• Experience in IT operations management is beneficial.
• Good understanding of agile methods is a plus.

Practical Information

• Full-time assignment.
• Location: Brussels.
• On-site presence of 2 days per week is required by default.
• Fluent English is required.
• Good Dutch, French, and/or German is a plus.
• For non-EU candidates working in Belgium, a valid work permit and residence permit are required.
