Junior IT Analyst

We're looking for a motivated IT Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. This role is key in supporting various IT initiatives in an Agile/DevOps setting, ensuring high-quality and pragmatic solutions are delivered while collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this crucial position, you will engage in functional and technical analysis across a range of initiatives, contributing to a multidisciplinary feature team. Your responsibilities include:

• Structuring and refining functional requirements and user stories while producing clear specifications.
• Mapping current and target processes and information flows, and identifying impacts on systems and data.
• Coordinating governance steps, preparing inputs for compliance and architectural reviews and following up on necessary approvals.
• Providing second-line incident support by conducting root-cause analysis and documenting corrective actions.
• Supporting automation initiatives and assessing the feasibility, dependencies, and risks of automation use cases.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of analytical skills and stakeholder management abilities. This includes:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a role focused on functional analysis.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with experience in modeling processes (e.g., BPMN).
• A basic understanding of integration methods through APIs (REST/SOAP) and a grasp on data flows.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and practical experience with documentation tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a root-cause mindset when addressing second-line incidents.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Additional Skills and Experience

While not mandatory, the following skills and knowledge will be advantageous:

• Knowledge of ITIL principles.
• Basic familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
