Lead project Manager - CIaO/ Catena
Function
We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our client and lead two high-impact application projects from planning through to delivery.
Our client is currently evolving two existing administrative platforms within a regulated environment. These applications play a key role in supporting compliance-driven processes and are entering a new phase of expansion. You will take ownership of both projects and ensure their successful delivery in line with scope, timing, and quality expectations.
Role & Responsibilities
As IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of two parallel projects:
- Define project scope, planning, and budget, and ensure ongoing follow-up
- Coordinate development, infrastructure, and release activities
- Monitor progress across timelines, budget, and quality, and report to stakeholders
- Identify risks and issues early, and implement or propose corrective actions
- Manage and follow up on change requests, including impact analysis and decision-making
- Organise and coordinate production releases
- Ensure accurate tracking and validation of project activities
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders and drive collaboration
- Lead and coordinate project teams and resources
Project Delivery & Governance
You will ensure structure, quality, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle:
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to steer delivery
- Ensure methodologies, standards, and documentation practices are followed
- Oversee daily team activities and provide direction where needed
- Escalate risks and issues at the appropriate level when required
- Manage capacity planning in collaboration with internal leads
- Support or lead client presentations and guide analysts where needed
- Apply a pragmatic “management by exception” approach
Profile & Key Skills
We are looking for a structured and communicative Project Manager with strong leadership capabilities:
- Proven experience as a senior IT Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum (epics, user stories, backlog management)
- Experience in budget management, risk management, and change management
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with a diplomatic and assertive approach
- Strong people management experience within project environments
- Ability to understand business context and translate it into project direction
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Coaching mindset; experience as a Scrum Coach is a plus
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 or similar methodologies
- Experience in test coordination is an asset
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g. social security, healthcare) is a plus
Languages & Requirements
- Fluent in Dutch and French
- Good working knowledge of English
