Lead SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant

We're looking for an experienced Lead SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to join our client's team and provide strategic and technical expertise during a major HR technology transformation. The consultant will play a key role in the migration from SAP HCM to SuccessFactors Employee Central, supporting the full lifecycle from blueprinting and analysis through implementation, testing, and go-live.
This role is focused on delivering high-level consulting, architecture guidance, technical expertise, and best-practice recommendations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical specialists, and project teams to ensure a successful transformation while ensuring data quality, system performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead expert for SAP HCM to SuccessFactors Employee Central migration initiatives.
- Provide advisory support to project teams, stakeholders, and technical teams by delivering recommendations, solutions, and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement analysis sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Design, configure, customize, test, and validate SuccessFactors Employee Central and related modules, including areas such as Learning Management, Onboarding, Recruiting, Recruiting Marketing, and Goal Management.
- Ensure data integrity throughout migration activities by defining migration strategies, mapping data, and applying appropriate transformation techniques.
- Support HRIS architecture decisions, integrations, and technical solutions involving SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including solution designs, process flows, configuration documentation, and user guides.
- Provide clear progress updates and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in SAP HR transformations, SuccessFactors implementations, and large-scale migration projects. You have a strong combination of functional HR knowledge, technical expertise, and consulting capabilities.
You have:
- Extensive experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations, configuration, and customization.
- Proven experience migrating SAP HCM (PA/OM) environments to SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HCM, SAP Time, SuccessFactors modules, and HR processes.
- Experience with SuccessFactors architecture, integrations, and payroll interfaces involving SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and HR technology ecosystems is considered an asset.
- Experience with data migration tools, data mapping, transformation logic, APIs, OData services, SAP standard extractors, and SAP CPI.
- Experience with integration platforms such as SAP BTP, CPI, IAS, and middleware solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile, PM², PMBOK, or PRINCE2.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in complex environments.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and Jira is an advantage.
Experience & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a SuccessFactors consultant, contributing to implementations across multiple SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance, Learning, Reporting).
- 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role within large-scale HR technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex SuccessFactors, SAP HR, and payroll integration projects.
- Experience acting as a project lead or project manager on multiple large transformation projects is highly valued.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core certification is required.
- Strong understanding of HRIS architecture and enterprise HR processes.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (minimum B2 level in all three languages).
- Availability to work onsite in Brussels at least 3 days per week.
