M365 System Administrator
Function
We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, a prominent player in the energy sector, as they embark on innovative projects that enhance reliability and sustainability in the electricity supply across Europe. Responsibilities and Role
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune. Your expertise will be crucial in managing user accounts, licenses, and group policies through Azure Active Directory. You will also:
- Configure security policies and compliance frameworks within Microsoft 365.
- Implement and support Teams Rooms and integrated collaboration tools.
- Assist with onboarding, migration, and management of hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis for Microsoft 365-related issues.
- Develop workflows using Power Automate and PowerShell scripts.
- Monitor service health, performance, and capacity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.
- Provide training and second-line support to users and IT staff.
- Engage with vendors and other personnel for problem resolution.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have a solid technical background within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and demonstrate medium knowledge and proven experience in operating mail and messaging services in a hybrid environment. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 administrator, engineer, or specialist.
- Strong familiarity with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure Active Directory, and security features.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with identity and device management via Intune.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain meticulous documentation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields, or equivalent experience.
Additional Information
This position requires a commitment to participate in shift/on-call rotations as operational needs dictate and will necessitate onsite presence for at least two days per week. Candidates must comply with security clearance requirements where applicable.
