Medior Business Analist

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and transforming datasets as well as reporting in the context of transitioning reporting systems. You will also support the adaptation of underlying methodologies and systems, overseeing the implementation of reports resulting from the deployment of digital meters within the current data model. Your work will include designing new reporting requirements, modifying or expanding existing reports, conducting testing, establishing data connections (both automatic and semi-manual), and setting up automation actions.

As part of your daily tasks, you will focus on analysis and execution of ongoing and new reports. You will ensure accuracy and efficiency in the reporting process while maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a business analyst in a similar environment (minimum 3 years)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI (minimum 4 years)
• Experience with BI monitoring and reporting facilities (minimum 5 years)
• Familiarity with market processes, roles, responsibilities, and regulations of the liberalized Belgian energy market (minimum 3 years)
• Experience in business process development and optimization (BPM)
• Strong background with Oracle as a source system for BI / SAP BO 4.0 (minimum 5 years)
• Experience with SAP Reporting BO Data Services 4.0 (minimum 5 years)
• Proficient in SQL (minimum 5 years)
• A Master's degree is required
• Strong skills in bridging business and IT requirements
• Fluent in Dutch at the CEFR C2 level and English
