We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's innovative development team, engaged in creating advanced technology solutions. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to design and implement applications that meet strict quality and security standards.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

• Design and develop technical solutions from functional requirements while adhering to quality, security, and legal standards.
• Create efficient and maintainable Java applications that are user-friendly.
• Ensuring robust quality through practices like unit/integration testing, documentation, and compliance checks following OWASP guidelines.
• Contribute to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Share and leverage expertise in technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, REST, JPA, and SQL Server.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes within a CI/CD framework on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while operating in an Agile environment.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Fluency in Dutch or French, along with a minimum passive knowledge of the other language, and demonstrate professional proficiency in IT-related English.
• A collaborative attitude, keen attention to detail, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• A commitment to sharing knowledge with teammates and a proactive mindset.
• Strong experience in Java development, specifically with frameworks including Spring (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like Angular and a solid grounding in web technologies, including REST, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.

Technical Requirements

Candidates should have:

• At least 4 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
• Strong knowledge in REST or SOAP, web technologies, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), and design patterns.
• Experience in reactive development using tools like RxJs, and understanding of Domain Driven Design principles is a plus.
• Adeptness in creating robust Java applications (Java 21 or higher), REST APIs, and an understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Experience within a microservices architecture.
