Medior NIS2 Project Leader

Function

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, where you will be instrumental in managing projects aimed at enhancing compliance with regulatory standards. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around driving the risk-based transition of both infrastructure and legacy systems, working closely with various product and project teams. You'll coordinate efforts among multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specified goals.

Location: Antwerp

Responsibilities

As a crucial member of the team, you will:

• Lead project teams and ensure smooth collaboration to achieve project objectives.
• Support project teams in executing their tasks effectively.
• Independently conduct analysis tasks and follow detailed activities as necessary.
• Report to the program manager with insights and updates on project progress.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a project leader in infrastructure or development projects.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Skills in interpreting regulations and translating them into concrete implementation requirements.
• Knowledge of information security and compliance with regulatory frameworks, particularly NIS.
• Exceptional communication skills, especially within complex project contexts.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, PMBok).
• Understanding of Cybersecurity Governance principles.
• Ability to sign IT Code and NDA agreements.
• A degree of fluency in Dutch (CEFR - level C2) and English.

Skills Required

Requirements include:

• Experience in the public sector (preferred).
• Ability to employ project management techniques (risk management, issue management, etc.).
• Experience with risk management in IT and security projects.
• Familiarity with supply chain security.
• Knowledge of ITIL and proficiency in MS Project and MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Prince2 Certification is an advantage.
