Our client is looking for a Medior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a high-impact product update within a complex environment. The design phase is completed, and the project is now entering the execution stage. Your role will be to ensure a smooth and structured rollout, managing multiple stakeholders and technical dependencies.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As the Project Lead / Epic Owner, you will be responsible for the structured execution of a large-scale implementation with multiple interfaces. Your key tasks include:
- Overseeing the end-to-end implementation of a critical product update, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Managing the project scope, planning, budget, and resources, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners to facilitate efficient collaboration.
- Defining and refining the business case, ensuring clarity on value streams and expected impact.
- Coordinating with development teams, providing input for prioritization and overseeing technical dependencies.
- Identifying risks and bottlenecks, implementing proactive contingency plans.
- Monitoring project progress, schedules, and deliverables, addressing any potential slippages.
- Ensuring the necessary infrastructure (hardware/software) is available for a seamless rollout.
- Providing clear reporting and communication to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Managing escalations effectively and driving problem-solving initiatives when needed.
Your Profile
You bring 2-5 years of experience in project management and have a proven track record of leading complex implementations. Key skills include:
- Strong project governance – managing scope, planning, and execution.
- Stakeholder & communication management – ability to align business and technical teams.
- Risk management & problem-solving – identifying challenges early and resolving them proactively.
- Leadership & ownership – driving initiatives with a structured, hands-on approach.
- Experience in health insurance or a similar regulated industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
